OneSecret allows users to create encrypted, self-destructing messages that can be shared via a unique link.
- Secrets are encrypted in your browser
- We store only encrypted data
- Secrets are deleted after viewing or expiry
🚫 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use OneSecret for:
- Illegal activities or unlawful content
- Harassment, abuse, or harmful communication
- Sharing malware, exploits, or malicious payloads
- Attempting to disrupt or abuse the service
We reserve the right to block or restrict access if misuse is detected.
🔐 Security Disclaimer
While OneSecret is designed with privacy and encryption in mind, no system can guarantee absolute security.
- Anyone with the full link can access the secret
- Secrets can be copied before they are destroyed
- You are responsible for how you share links
💣 Data Retention
Secrets are temporary by design:
- Deleted after the configured number of views
- Automatically removed after expiry
- Not recoverable once destroyed

OneSecret is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Error-free operation
- Absolute security or data protection
📉 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneSecret shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data or secrets
- Unauthorized access due to shared links
- Any indirect or consequential damages

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service
means you accept the updated terms.
